Okay, three years in this house with no house numbers.....they're finally up. It only took two trips to Sears Hardware....we had to have a new drill....and three years. Don't they look nice? It reminds me of something I saw the other day which I put into my memory bank. God has lots of things for me to accomplish in this lifetime....right now I'm so far behind I'll never die!!
Hi Butch and Barbara. Here we were at Cedarhurst in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. We had a wonderful time despite the rain. One of my favorite crafters in the show, he had such an imagination using old vacuums, sewing machines, bottles, etc...making them into creatures. Very original!

Forgot to mention that last Saturday I got to see Peter Tork in person at Cedarhurst in Mt. Vernon, IL. I was pretty excited about this....since I was a huge Monkey's fan back when....well, let's just say back when! Anyway, all the other girls were crazy about Davy Jones; not me, I was all about Peter Tork. He was dreamy & so so cute! Well, I was a little disappointed when I saw him. Was I expecting to see the same face I knew and dreamed about at one time? I guess! But there he was, not much hair and looking pretty old. Then I thought, how much older am I? No, I don't look old!! I don't feel old, anyway! Well, I think I'll just keep my old Peter Tork memory alive in my mind and get on with life. Hey, hey for the Monkey's!!!

I was looking though pictures today and found one of my son, Jordan, at almost the exact same age as his new little baby girl, Dakota. Do you see any resemblance? Sometimes it's hard to tell at this age, but I see a little. That little boy you see in the pic below will be 25 on the 20th of this month.....where did the time go?

Had to add a couple of other ATC's I've made this past week. I just order the black german scrap that you see down the side of the cards. I have to order more, I love it!
I have been working on Atc's again! Finally got my desk cleaned off where I could tell where things where at. You should see it now. I'm so messy when I'm working. I really try and put things away as I go, but it somehow doesn't work that way for me. I made "I Can Resist" first and fell in love with it! I have never kept any of my own work....I know, I should. I just love trading them away with others and keeping a copy of them in my file. But never actually kept a card. Well this one is it! I'm keeping it! I don't know if it's the simplicity of it, the saying that fits us all to well sometimes....or that cute little feather I found to add at the top, but it's mine. Sorry everyone.....! I have so enjoyed being in Teri Chinen's ATC group, everyone's work is such great quality, inspiring, creative....I could just go on. And of course, vintage....my all time favorite. I'm in a chunky book swap that I'm working on for this group on Leonardo Da Vinci. I'll post my pages when I get them finished. First chunky book.....I'm excited! Thanks for looking.
