Mother's Day was a wonderful day; not only was the weather beautiful, but my son was in from North Carolina with his "expecting" girlfriend! My little granddaughter is due July 20 and her name will be Dakota Ann. Here is the happy couple, Jordan and Danelle. They got to visit for several days. Also here for dinner that day was my parents from Auburn and my parents from Kentucky, my sister and her boyfriend and my other son James. We all had a wonderful visit. Wish we could all be together more often.

Today we had mulch delivered for the flower gardens and I was in the yard all day. I went to Lowe's and bought flowers and started digging in the dirt, I love it! We still have a very large pile of mulch, so anyone who would like to help distribute it throughout the flower beds is welcome! Now I can barely walk, though! But it is all worth it. Sorry I don't have any pics today, couldn't make myself walk back out to take any!

BACK FROM THE EMERAL COAST

It's always a bummer to come back from vacation....especially when you've been spending it on the sunny beach on the Emerald Coast all week. But I guess all good things have to come to an end and we all have to get back to our jobs eventually. How else can we fund those wonderful vacations.
Visited a LSS in Destin and got some laser diecuts and paper made for that area, beach names we were on and paper with Emerald Coast and Destin, Florida on it. Some great ideas in the store for beach pages, which I thought about on the long drive home. I don't know how any pages I planned in my head, but I'd better get busy with them before those ideas "leak out".
We couldn't have asked for better weather and we had safe travel...and made a lifetime of memories. How lucky I am to have found such a wonderful hobby where I can capture those special memories down in a new memory book, which by the way, I just had to pick up today at Archiver's. Gotta get started, thanks for stopping by to look, Beth
