Well, today I had to remind myself it's spring.....the air sure doesn't feel like it. Hard to believe I was sweating working in the yard on Monday and today looking for my coat! But I guess it's all a part of living in the wonderful midwest. You're surprised every morning you get up!
Having a special uncle (my godfather), suffering a major stroke a week ago, I ran across this the other day and wanted to share:
"No pain that we suffer, no trail that we experience is wasted. It ministers to our education, to the development of such qualities as patience, faith, fortitude and humility. All that we suffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it
patiently, builds up our characters, purifies our hearts and expands our souls, and makes us more tender and charitable, more worthy to be called the children of God." Orson F. Whitney
