Surprise lily. These have foliage in the spring that comes up and then dies and leaves quite a mess to clean up. Then....surprise.....up pops these beautiful flowers in the hot summer!

Don't you just love it when you're standing in the middle of "nature", camera in hand and it just seems to fall together!

Not sure whether this one was a butterfly or a moth; but I loved the contrast and color.

This little guy must have been a young one....he wasn't afraid, in fact he was quite curious of me!
